ABOUT: Ladder yields a mix of ecosystems from desert grasslands to pine forests and borders the Gila National Forest in the Black Range foothills. PREMIUM HUNTS: Turner Ranch Outfitting offers premium guided hunts for mule deer and elk on a very limited basis. As hunts have been limited to just twelve (12) mature bulls per season, Turner Ranch Outfitting manages for an optimal age class which regularly produces the largest bulls in the region and on any of Turner’s properties. Hunts are offered annually in (6) archery and six (6) rifle bull elk, which yield an unparalleled experience. These hunts are booked well in advance of the season with private land permits.
PREMIUM BULL BISON HUNT
GENERAL INFO: A true western hunt experience offering the opportunity at 4 mature bachelor bull bison. This fully-guided Southern New Mexico hunt is available on Ladder or Armendaris for hunting parties of up to 4. Up to 4 non-hunting guests are welcome to be added to the trip.
This 3-day hunt includes expert-level guides, state license and permit fees, accommodations in Mr. Turner’s private 4-bedroom, 4-bath home, meals prepared by a private chef, airport and onsite transportation, and basic processing. Gratuities for staff and guides are not included.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Premium hunt experiences enjoy the rustically elegant Country House at Ladder, Ted Turner’s personal home. Recently remodeled, this charming abode is located on the banks of the Animas Creek.
