ABOUT: The 24,000-acre San Jose Estancia in Argentina is located approximately a one-hour drive from Rio Grande on the island of Tierra Del Fuego, at the southernmost tip of the continent. The ranch, which relies on wind energy to provide 100% of its electricity to each house on the property, was completely renovated in late 1999 and has since developed a reputation as one of the finest angling lodges in the world today. Besides having the largest number of guanacos on the island of Tierra del Fuego with approximately 3,000 on the property, San Jose is also the island’s only registered guanaco breeding facility.

FISHING: Anadromous sea trout fishing; up to four anglers/week.
